Our state-of-the-art showroom offers an immersive and interactive experience designed to educate students about solar power and energy efficiency. Whether you’re an elementary student exploring the wonders of clean energy or a high school student diving deep into the technology behind solar panels, our educational showroom has something for everyone.

Standards of Learning

Aligned with Virginia Standards of Learning (SOLs) across grades K-12, our cross-curricular educational content is designed to complement classroom curriculum, providing a hands-on learning experience for students of all ages. We invite teachers and educators to bring their students for a field trip to our educational showroom, where they can discover the exciting world of solar power and energy efficiency.

Elementary School:

Middle/High School:

Our Educational Showroom

All students can explore the immersive main showroom exhibits, featuring solar displays, high-tech energy products, and a ready-to-demo energy efficient home.

Showroom Solar Products Wall

Educational Wall

The product wall includes current solar and energy technologies being used for home solar energy systems. Students can see inverters, batteries, solar panels, and more up close!

Educational Model Home

Students can walk through this model home and take a look at its energy efficiency upgrades. These upgrades reduce energy waste in the home and highlight the importance of home efficiency.

Solar Display

The energy efficient home features a roof mounted solar system and a solar ground mount, including a meter and inverter on the side of the home so that students can see how all of the components of a solar system are connected.

Children's Education Zone

Elementary-aged students can enjoy our showroom’s Kids Education Center, complete with colorful displays and hands-on educational activities.
