Energy efficiency is the simplest way to make a home more comfortable and cut the power bill. Most homes leak heat, hold hot air in the attic and run their heating and cooling harder than they should. The result is high bills and rooms that never feel comfortable.

Earth-Shield is a reflective material that slows heat moving from the attic into the upper floor of your home. In winter it helps hold heat in. In summer it reflects heat back out.

Earth-Barrier is an insulated, blanket-like material installed under a home. It keeps heat on one side and cold on the other, and it blocks moisture from building up where it can do damage.
Cold air under the floor is a common reason rooms never feel comfortable.
Air sealing closes the gaps where heated and cooled air escapes and outside air gets in. Common culprits are attic hatches, wiring and plumbing penetrations, recessed lights and the edges of the floor framing.
It is often the cheapest step in a retrofit, and it makes insulation work better. Our building analysts hold BPI certification in infiltration and duct leakage, so we find the leaks instead of guessing at them.
An attic with poor ventilation traps heat. That heat keeps warming the house long after the sun goes down, and it feeds mold and stale air.
A solar attic fan moves air through the attic and pushes the heat out. Less heat for your air conditioner to fight, and a roof and cooling system that last longer. It runs off its own small solar panel.
Earth Barrier goes down in the crawl space under your home. It is a layer of foam sealed between two vapor-retarding films, so it insulates and blocks ground moisture at the same time.
A cold, damp crawl space pulls heat out through the floor above it. That is why rooms over a crawl space often have cold floors in winter. Covering the ground cuts that loss and keeps moisture from rising into the house.
Ducts that leak lose air into the attic or crawl space before it ever reaches a room. You pay to heat and cool that air and never feel it.
